The start of the walk takes us down to the level of the Loire and you need to be well shod to understand this descent. The rest of the trail is not difficult, apart from the return to the nature house which is steep, but the panorama offered justifies the effort.

I grew up there in Unieux Pertuiset Throughout my youth with childhood friends during school holidays it was every day superb walks in summer and winter from Unieux to Saint-Victor sur Loire and back. in autumn when the Loire burst its banks the hike was impossible the road and the bridges were flooded. on the other hand during the flood we had to go to the grangeant dam because 3 out of 4 valves were open, it was impressive especially with the food supplies.

Thanks to whoever identified this route on Komoot. It's a real pleasure, both in classic MTB and AE. Magnificent landscapes. Trails of varying difficulty with some very rolling parts and others quite technical. No carrying (almost). To do and redo.
