Yesterday, in the middle of the wild garlic bloom, I was looking forward to the trail again. But unfortunately, it largely fell victim to forestry work. Hope it recovers by next year.

This is an ideal hiking trail between Ettlingen and Herrenalb. The Alb River accompanies you on your left. Pure scenic enjoyment. Due to its proximity to the Alb Valley Railway line, shorter sections of the trail are also easily accessible. For refreshments, the Kochmühle in Neurod and the König von Preußen restaurant in Frauenalb are recommended. Both also offer access to the Alb Valley Railway.
