Nice quiet road on the way from Someren to Lierop

The section runs along the quiet Meervendijk road and is the best connection between Lierop and the Lieropsche Heide or Strabrechtse Heide.

Belongs to the Strabrechtse Heide and that is quite a large and unique area in south-east Brabant on the edge of Kempen and Peel. This area has quite a few fens and then the nice thing is, each fen is different. Each fen has its own unique beautiful landscape character. Are you coming from far away and are you with the car and bicycle carrier. Then you are also in the right place in this area because there are quite a few parking facilities. The shepherds regularly do their rounds over the area. Also certainly nice to stop for a moment
