The Chapel of Our Lady of Consolation of the Afflicted is surrounded by linden trees and is located near the Rameyenhof. Until 1855, it was a wooden chapel in the shape of a column. The current chapel was erected in 1859 by M.J. Van Den Bol and V.P. Legrelle (see floor inscription). The interior is painted white with a wooden pointed barrel vault. Neo-Gothic white marble altar with a pointed arch niche containing the coats of arms of the Le Grelle family; a statue (plaster?) of a mother and child. The floor is made of black and white marble with a commemorative plaque indicating the builder and year. (Inventory of Immovable Heritage)
