This approximately 2.5km drive formerly connected the guardhouses (now in ruins but still visible) to the old main entrance of the Chateau de Beloeil.

The Museum of Fine Arts of Tournai is the only monument designed by Victor Horta intended from the outset to fulfill this function. It is also one of the rare public commissions testifying to the architect's transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. The museum project was born from the collaboration between the patron Henri Van Cutsem, who wished to ensure the permanence of his art collection, the sculptor Guillaume Charlier, and Victor Horta. The idea was first mentioned in 1903, but it took until 1928 to see its realization. Its genesis is complex, marked by successive preliminary projects drawn by the architect and reworked to lead to an increasingly ambitious ensemble, threatening the allocated budget. Work did not begin until 1913 and was suspended during World War I, for ten years. In 1923, Victor Horta took up the project again by simplifying his last design, for reasons of economy. The museum, as inaugurated in 1928, consists of a relatively sober shell, from which only a few decorative elements stand out at the entrance porch. The latter is surmounted by a monumental sculptural group by Guillaume Charlier. Past a vast reception area, one enters spacious, radiating rooms topped with large glass roofs. These provide original zenithal lighting and contrast with a majority of blind walls with decoration that is, all in all, limited for budgetary reasons.

The fours Crèvecoeur in Antoing are historic lime kilns dating back to 1841. These kilns were used to burn limestone to produce lime, an important building material at the time. During the Second World War, the inhabitants of Antoing filled the quarry to avoid deportation to Germany.
