The asphalt bike path has been largely removed. There's now (September 14th) only sand. Only the westernmost section was still there. I'm curious to see if anything will take its place. White sand has been dumped.

Nice varied ride over more than 80% unpaved. It was dry but in wet weather it seems to me to become a mud pool. With 30mm gravel tires a bit too heavy.
