The St. Laurentius Church is the Protestant village church in the Grafhorst district of the municipality of Velpke (Helmstedt district, Lower Saxony). It dates back to an older church building. The current building was constructed in 1852/1853, after the previous church had been demolished. The church tower, which probably dates from the 11th century and is thus the oldest part of the complex, was preserved.

a very narrow path leads here and it goes steeply downhill at the edges, but is a very nice spot with a small sandy beach at the end.
