The Dutch windmill Jerichow (construction type: pedestal Dutch mill) is the last and only surviving of the formerly seven windmills in the North Saxon-Anhalt town of Jerichow in the Jerichower Land district. It is a listed building on a partially artificially piled sand dune on the former eastern outskirts of the town. https://www.stadt-jerichow.de/verzeichnis/visitenkarte.php?mandat=41911

The ferry connects the towns of Ferchland and Grieben, thus creating a connection between the district of Jerichower-Land and the district of Stendal. Due to its proximity to the town, it is easily accessible and offers a comfortable way to cross the Elbe. Further information about the ferry can be found here: https://www.elberadweg.de/Faehre/motorfaehre-ferchland-grieben/

The well-maintained cycle path on the dike is good to ride on. But beware, unfortunately the path to the ferry towards Ferchland is not completely developed.
