A new platform for the Heidekrautbahn will be built on a railway embankment next to the S-Bahn station. The previous station was located in a similar location, but at street level. The visualizations show what the new Wilhelmsruh station will look like in the future. Work began in November 2024 and is expected to continue until the end of 2025.
