The Großer Däbersee is a natural lake in Waldsieversdorf. On the eastern shore of the lake there is a log cabin that was built to the specifications of John Heartfield in the early 1960s. A signposted circular hiking trail runs around the lake for about three kilometers.

The Great Däbersee emerged from a dead ice hole in the Vistula Ice Age. It is 18.6 hectares in size and has an average depth of 8 m. The greatest depth is 16 m. The inflow takes place via the Diebsgraben from Müncheberg through the Gumnitz and Großer Schlagenthinsee nature reserve via the Kreuzfließ and the Kleiner Däbersee. The Mühlenplumpe, the Bullenwiese and some fish ponds form the drain into the Stöbber. https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gro%C3%9Fer_D%C3%A4bersee
