Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Czech: kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie) is a late Gothic church in old Most, built in 1517. When Most’s historic centre was demolished in the 1960s–1980s because of expanding lignite mines, the church was saved by being moved 841.1 metres in 1975. Weighing 12,700 tonnes, it was listed in the Guinness World Records as the heaviest building ever moved on wheels.

For 480 Kc, two people can visit the church, crypt and tower and receive a detailed history description in German. What is special is that the church was moved by 841 meters and 10 centimeters (!) in the 1970s. All because of coal.
