Worthwhile goal me only for mountain bikers but also for hikers. From the bridge over the Rio Karajos, a rather steep road leads over 4km to this beautiful viewpoint. You can let your eyes wander over the eastern and central Cordilleras with a cool drink or local food or watch the local coffee farmers play the Tejo or even join in.

Crosses of a Stations of the Cross can be found from the Rio Naranjo up to just before San Agustín. A vantage point with a large statue of Mary and flags has been set up at the most beautiful spot with a view of the valley of the Rio Naranjo. The visit and view is definitely worth it.

A beautiful place for a trip. The lovingly designed facility invites you to linger. Especially on weekends there is also delicious food and well-chilled drinks. The view over the Rio Naranjo valley to San Agustín and the Cordilleras is simply overwhelming.

The many locals can't be wrong when they say they have the best coffee here. When you visit Luis Alejandro's farm, you can convince yourself on site and we are convinced 😃. With a lot of love, fresh and self-produced coffee is served here to try. In the season you can request guided tours... from the coffee bush to the cup.

The Magdalena Strait is the narrowest part of the river at 2.20 m, after 70 km on the way from the source to the mouth. The slopes consist of more than 70 million years old compacted lava from the volcanoes of "Pelota" and "Purutal". The reddish color of some rocks is due to the presence of iron sulphate in the area. In some rocks there are 120 million year old sea shells, so-called ammonites. It is considered a sacred place and most indigenous people built their villages along rivers such as the Magdalena.
