May 2025: The Bruhnkaten Bridge is now officially open again after its closure, but only for cyclists and pedestrians. Barriers have been installed to permanently block motor vehicles. Thankfully, the barriers have been positioned to allow cyclists to pass comfortably. According to a newspaper report, a complete renovation is planned for 2027.
