The Ruppertsklamm is recommended to all nature enthusiasts. Sturdy, waterproof shoes are advantageous, as you sometimes have to step into the stream. Depending on the weather, it can carry quite a bit of water.

I went hiking here with my children (5 and 8 years old). It worked great overall, about 2 hours, you can also plan a visit to the castle (+1 hour) (Tickets children 8 and adults 10 Euro)

🛡⚔️🏰In its current form, the fortress was rebuilt between 1817 and 1828 under the direction of Prussian engineer Carl Schnitzler. Since 2002, the fortress has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Upper Middle Rhine Valley", owned by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. 🚡The highlight is the journey to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress with the Koblenz cable car. Float over the Rhine🚠, the fantastic view of the Deutsches Eck, Rhine and Moselle🌊, before the impressive fortress walls appear🛡⚔️. The Marienkapelle in Rhöndorf (Bad Honnef) is a historic baroque quarry stone building from 1714, located as a central monument in the middle of Rhöndorfer Straße on a traffic island. The chapel was built after the destruction of a predecessor building by French troops (1689), consecrated in 1716 as "Mariae Heimsuchung" and is known for its ornate baroque altar.
