Today we visit the town of Herrnhut, we start our exploration from the car park, directly opposite the show workshop of the Herrnhuter Sterne. If it is already well-filled with people in the morning, we find ourselves in the middle of the pre-Christmas season. From 1722, religious refugees from Moravia settled here and founded the town of Herrnhut and the Moravian Church. If the star symbolizes the star of Bethlehem, it is a widespread Christmas accessory. We go into the town, but the tree trunk is unfortunately closed. In 1897, Pieter Hendrik Verbeek invented the first assemblable star.
