Pant-y-Goitre Bridge spans the River Usk between Abergavenny and Usk near Llanfair Kilgeddin village. It was built in 1821 by engineer John Upton and serves the B4598 road. As part of improvements to the Abergavenny to Usk turnpike road, the bridge is made of ashlar and features three spans with circular voids. Described as an "unusual and handsome design" by architectural historian John Newman, the bridge is listed as a Grade II structure.

Clytha Castle (Welsh: Castell Cleidda) is a folly near Clytha between Llanarth and Raglan in Monmouthshire, south east Wales. Dating from 1790, the castle was built by William Jones, owner of the Clytha Park estate as a memorial to his wife, Elizabeth, who died in 1787. The castle is an example of the Gothic Revival and comprises three towers, of which two are habitable, and linking, castellated curtain walls. Long attributed to John Nash, recent research has confirmed that the architect was John Davenport of Shrewsbury. The folly has views towards the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid mountains on the easternmost edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Described by the architectural historian John Newman as one of the two "outstanding examples of late eighteenth century fanciful Gothic in the county", Clytha Castle is a Grade I listed building.

There has been a crossing here since the 16th century but it was the 19th-century incarnation that earned it the name Chain Bridge, due to its sturdy chain supports. However, the current iron arch bridge was built in 1906 by George Palmer of Neath. On the eastern bank, the Chainbridge Inn serves good pub food and has four guestrooms. It's a lovely place to stay, with serene riverside trails and Clytha Park less than an hour's walk away.

This is a pretty Grade II-listed bridge across the River Usk. Its three arches are constructed of red sandstone, the central of which is larger. Three circular tunnels cut through the structure between the arches, acting as a defence against flooding, which the Usk has a history of. The bridge was built in 1821 for the road between Abergavenny and Usk. The neighbouring settlement of Llanvihangel Gobion is a quiet little village.

A fine example of Gothic Revival architecture, Clytha Castle is one of Wales' outstanding 18th-century follies. It forms a part of the Clytha Estate, a tranquil landscaped park containing a Grade I-listed house, as well as the castle. The folly was built in 1790 by William Jones as a memorial to his late wife Elizabeth. It stands proud on Clytha Hill to the backdrop of a grove of chestnut trees.
