The (mostly) gravel trail around Llys-y-fran Reservoir offers beautiful perspectives on hidden inlets and stunning views at every turn. Don't expect flat terrain, as it's an undulating circuit from the bottom of the dam, up through the woods and over the hills. Running the loop clockwise will give you a flatter finish for tired legs.

The dam wall that creates Llys-y-fran reservoir is an impressive sight, at 100 feet (30 m) high. This section is tarmac, but it soon gives way to gravel and a slightly more forgiving surface. It can be busy in summertime with cyclists and walkers, but the track is wide enough to accommodate everyone without causing any issues. Cafe, and lots of facilities nearby in the activity centre.

Gorsedd Stones are arrangements of standing stones constructed for the National Eisteddfod of Wales for each one. They are scattered throughout Wales and are a nice surprise when you come across one unexpectedly. This particular group of stones was constructed for the Eisteddfod in 1972. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorsedd_stones https://www.dreamstime.com/gorsedd-bards-circle-haverfordwest-pembrookshire-stones-are-arrangements-of-standing-stones-constructed-the-national-image101698853

Gelli Bridge is a beautiful 18th-century span that's Grade listed twice, thanks to falling across two separate parishes. With lichen and age marking its stone, it makes for a rather picturesque sight as it crosses the Eastern Cleddau river.
