Card payments are accepted. The bridge is open to cyclists and walkers 24/7. There is a slot for the toll in the door outside of operating hours.

The wooden bridge has been here for almost 150 years. It's a scenic way of crossing the estuary and cuts out a reasonable distance of tarmac. Bikes cost 50p per crossing.
