The long distance walk The Yorkshire Heritage Way goes through Saltaire and the World Heritage site at Fountains Abbey on its way from Bradford Cathedral to Ripon Cathedral. On a personal note my Dad taught art to a young David Hockney at Bradford Grammar School ( tbf my dad always said with talent like that it was more a matter of being encouraging and not getting in the way )

Saltaire is a world heritage site. Titus Salt built this village to house his mill workers. Its well worth a stop. The old mill is full of interesting things, books, art (Hockney gallery) history, cafes. https://saltairevillage.info/

Hi I am new here and I don’t know any body. I love hiking and walking but I don’t have any car or bike to join you… since 2 month ago I live in uk , so I don’t know so many people, I do like to know new people… so do you have any idea for me ? How I can join to any plan like yours or maybe the other idea for finding friends?
