Great for running and walking on lovely grassy limestone paths

A good path follows the river and makes for superb trail running - sometimes rocky, sometimes muddy and up and down from the riverfront to the top of the steep banks - definitely worth a visit

A scenic packhorse bridge crosses the river here before it flows over this large waterfall right next to the riverside path. Come on October and you might just see salmon leaping up it to spawn higher up the river

This circa 15th century clapper footbridge crosses the Austwick Beck. Vehicles, horses and bikes will need to use the ford. The bridge is limestone with slate flags. The Pennine Journey bridleway crosses here.
