A very beautiful bird watching station directly on the Werra Unstrut cycle path. There are several possibilities to look directly into the Ried to make your discoveries. Furthermore, there is an information board regarding the birds in the Ried.

It's also worth using the Lauschtour app here. You learn that the mill's owner, Mr. Dreyse, invented the needle gun in 1841, giving the Prussians a huge advantage over their muzzle-loading opponents by "loading the cartridges from the back." They were able to reload easily from cover and were faster.

A hall church dating from 1729 on the site of a previous church. The west tower, essentially Romanesque, features a spire and lantern. Inside, there's a pulpit altar and a kneeling baptismal angel, which was once suspended. Tours are available by appointment.
