Small tip - In Kairlindach there is a baker (who still bakes like in the old days), whose sweet pastries are amazing. Especially the "Bamberger" - the butter literally drips out of the bag after an hour. But you have to be there very early, otherwise they are sold out - or reserve by phone early.

Excellent views both upstream and downstream. You can also enjoy watching the activity in the boat harbor. The statues of the Virgin Mary and St. John Nepomuk (?) on the bridge are definitely worth a second look.
