The cafe is unfortunately now closed, it has reopened up the road at Loanhead Farm though.

The path is very overgrown all the way through to the bings. There area also two locked gates with barbed wire so clearly not encouraged by the land owner. We made it through today but wish we hadn't bothered!

Delightful little bit of woodland. Trail through is generally nicely rideable with some lovely trees. Steep descent and climb out in the North and far NE tip is quite rooty. Makes a nice contrast from the tarmac'd cyclepaths in the area.
