A ship tunnel (1810) that can be walked through from the side as a shortcut for the Le Doubs river canal. On the other side of the canal there is a lock about 3-4 m high. There is a water curtain at both portals and the interior is beautifully and decoratively lit. Worth seeing.

The Cabordes are dry stone houses that were once used by winegrowers. Winemaking has played an important role in Besançon since the Middle Ages. On this side of the Rosemont hill there are two of these houses, both listed as heritage sites and renovated in recent years (2015 and 1027).

The Rosemont Battery (Fort de Rosemont) is a 19th-century military building consisting of six guns hastily constructed during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 to support the Planoise and Chaudanne positions. However, this war did not affect the city and subsequently the battery was never used for military purposes, even during the Second World War. (wikipedia)
