This route takes you through a quiet forest and along an idyllic lake. If you enjoy birdwatching, you will have a lot of fun here – it is a small paradise for nature lovers. The path was created in collaboration with Gisselfeld Kloster and Faxe Kommune. Important: The forest is private, so access is only permitted between sunrise and sunset. Sometimes access may be completely blocked. If the entire route becomes too long for you, you can easily shorten it in Paradishaven.

Køge city center is worth seeing, good restaurants at the harbor! Not immediately visible, but worth trying!

Originally, Køge was located in the grounds of present-day Gammel Køgegård, approximately 1 km inland from the current town centre. Remains of a church have been found in the orchard of the estate. When sedimentation made the beach and marshlands along the coast suitable for building, the settlement relocated to the bay and Old Køge shrank to a few scattered houses.
