A classic district market square with beautiful tenement houses. Several buildings entered into the register of monuments. Plus shops and pizza. Stocks can be replenished. In the middle there is a column of King Casimir the Great.

The biggest attraction on the Market Square is a modern multimedia fountain, which, accompanied by famous musical pieces, creates a picturesque audiovisual spectacle. The shows on the multimedia fountain take place: in the transitional season (May, September, October) - daily at 19:00 (dynamic melody line), - at night at 8:30 p.m. (dynamic melody line) and 9:30 p.m. (gentle melody line), in the summer season (June, July, August) - daily at 19:00 (dynamic melody line), - night at 21:00 (dynamic melody line) and 21:45 (soft melody line). bochnia.eu

This market square is located on an almost square area with the Nowy Wiśnicz Town Hall in the middle. There is a lot of lawn, some old trees, a monument and many benches that invite you to linger. The market is surrounded by many small shops.

Entry costs 18 zl. The tour takes place in small groups. Unfortunately there are no English tours. The castle is definitely worth seeing. There are also plenty of parking spaces in front of the castle. Wiśnicz Castle was built in the middle of the 14th century. In the 16th century it was transformed into a splendid Renaissance castle. From 1615 to 1621, the outer defenses were fundamentally modernized.
