On the country road between Buchholz and Klecken you will come across stone witnesses of the past - the megalithic tomb in the Kleckerwald. Location: 21227 Bendestorf, on the country road between Buchholz and Klecken. 76 upright stones surround the 48-meter-long burial mound. The freely accessible megalithic tomb dates back to the Neolithic period. It is therefore around 5200 years old! The grave is 48 meters long and six meters wide. Exactly 76 upright stones surround the former burial mound. The grave was restored in its current form around 120 years ago by the forester at the time. Bones or grave goods of those buried in the megalithic tomb could no longer be found at that time. Since 1929 a special forest service has been held here every year on Whit Monday. https://www.regionalpark-rosengarten.de/die-region/sehenswert/huenengrab-kleckerwald/r Forest service takes place.

Illegal "bike park" that contributes massively to the destruction of the trees ... but doesn't seem to bother too many ... Fun first! 🤮
