An old map, still hanging in another location in the woods (see photo), confirms the bullet trap of the large firing range. The GDR is still a blank spot on the map there, the "Large Firing Range" is also marked, and we are at its end here. ✔️

It's a bit far from here to the sailing ship, but whatever ;). I suggest going to the ferry port, buying a ticket (it's a small cost, but the route isn't long either 😂) and admiring this wonder that is the PASSAT up close.

Unfortunately, there's no real alternative to the bike path along the road on this section, but that doesn't exactly make it a mountain bike highlight. The views over Lake Dassow at least make up for the technically boring asphalt. But since the bike path is in really good condition, you can get this section over with quickly and move on to more suitable trails.
