You will pass through a part of the gentle landscape of Vukomeričke gorice with gentle hills and stream valleys away from the city noise. Hiking, regardless of the season, will best immerse you in the calm atmosphere of this area, a little tired body, but rest the spirit. On the trail you can read information about the history of Vukomeričke gorice, population, wooden construction, flora and fauna. If you want to spend a day without a car, the Šumarica trail is an ideal place for that, because the villages of Krušak and Kozjača are connected to Velika Gorica by a regular bus line. On Sunday at 9.00 am, take a bus to Krušak, and from Kozjača you will find a bus to Velika Gorica at 1.40 pm. The trail is marked in both directions, so you can choose the place of departure.
