We were in Croatia in September 2023 on the Liski Canal (Fyord) We wanted to go hiking, parked at the parking lot and set off. Through the forest on a gravel path that was easy to walk on. We noticed that there were large, very deep holes on the right, which means don't leave the path because you'll disappear into the holes. No sign, no signs saying what the path on the right means, or even no sign indicating where to go. We walked the gravel path for about an hour (a lot of cyclists came towards us) But then we were too uncertain where we would end up. " Please note and be careful, two dogs suddenly came out of the bushes and followed us. For safety reasons, my husband took a stick in his hand and they disappeared back into the bushes. Then we went back to the spot (sign saying there was a restaurant below ????????) We tried to go down the steep and very dangerous slope, but it was so rocky and steep that we turned back. This slope is more than dangerous, never for older people or children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. There is also no sign indicating that this area is barely accessible. And you can't describe it as a climb. Grossly negligent.

This almost dry lake in the Kontija Nature Park is home to a bird reserve. There is a path around the area. However, you should only walk it with sturdy shoes.

The town of Kloštar lies above the Limfjord and is surrounded by typical Istrian landscape. There are refreshment stops and the place also serves as a starting point for hikes along the Limski Fjord.

We could not see a small path or anything like that at this corner where we would have had a view... In any case, there was nothing to be seen directly from the gravel path... no fjord either

The canopy of leaves definitely looks funny, but on the other hand, in May we were eaten up by mosquitoes... So if you want to enjoy this path, you should take anti Brumm or something similar😂

Hiking is always in the forest. The view comes at the end. I midsummer sure a good cool down. With children very boring. Restaurant at the start is highly recommended.
