The most impressive view of the Kvarner Bay in the Učka Nature Park is from the Vojak summit (1,401 m), especially from the viewing platform of the Vojak Tower. From there, you can see the bay with Rijeka as well as the islands of Krk and Cres; in clear weather, the panorama extends to Velebit and Gorski kotar. The nature park explicitly designates the viewpoint as a 360° panorama.

Stari Grad Lovran is the small historic old town of Lovran and is particularly worthwhile in combination with the Lungomare promenade. Lovran is considered the oldest settlement on the Opatija Riviera; the compact old town still has a distinctly medieval character with narrow streets, stone houses, and small passageways.

The Lungomare promenade in Lovran is highly recommended. It is officially called Franz-Joseph-I.-Promenade and runs directly along the coast between Lovran, Opatija and Volosko. The contiguous section is about 10 km long.

Unfortunately not as spectacular as in the pictures. We came down from the summit and were looking for this bench on the descent to see this view, but unfortunately nothing... When we arrived at the bottom, there are 3 seating/table groups, but without this beautiful view. A pity.
