September 22, 2024, Grzędy Forester's Lodge and Information Point

Grzedy Forester's Lodge. There is also a BPN information point here. The place is beautiful and the trails from there are wonderful. Nearby there are toilets, a camping site, a large parking lot, a shelter and a few others. A really noteworthy place.

Quite well preserved shelter. Good access. In places near the shelter there is barbed wire in the grass so it is worth watching your step.

Świera gravel road. Previously, the surface here was much worse. Very little car traffic - negligible. Enjoyable episode. At the end of this road it cuts off from Osowiec, we have two options: left on a dirt road (Ghost Road) or right towards the cemetery in Osowiec along a sandy road. Both are quite difficult, but you can walk this small part if you have narrow tires.

There is a single track path near the moat around Fort II. You can go MTB or walk. The views of the moat and bunkers are very good from this path. I recommend. Please just watch out for the old fence next to the large willow tree on the east side. There is a remnant of the fence in the grass where the cows were grazing, but the pegs and wire are visible so it can be noticed.

A place with a beautiful view of the Biebrza meadows and river floodplains. Right next to it, there is a mural reflecting the surrounding area.
