The Sosnowo Lock on the Augustów Canal is a fascinating destination for tourists and water history enthusiasts. Originally built in 1835–1836, it was destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in 1948. Today, it allows for locking over a height difference of nearly 3 meters, a major attraction for kayakers using this popular waterway. The area also encourages exploration of Biebrza National Park, teeming with birds and unique ecosystems, as well as walking and cycling along the nearby trails. It's a great place to combine active recreation with exploring the region's history and nature.

The Church of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary is associated with the Orthodox period in the history of the monastery. It was built at the initiative of the nuns between 1904 and 1908 as a winter church. Its design is attributed to Nikolai Pavlovich Kozlov, an architect active at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. This architect, commissioned by the tsarist government, built a number of public buildings and churches. He also worked for the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church (it was by decision of this Synod that the nuns moved from Grodno to Różanystok in the early 20th century). His design for one of the buildings in Różanystok (the former monastery hospital) is confirmed in sources, so it can be assumed that he also designed the winter church. After the nuns' evacuation into Russia in 1915, the complex fell into the hands of the German army and then, back, to the Catholic Church. Currently, the church serves as a Catholic chapel of Our Lady Help of Christians." - source: https://rozanystok.salezjanie.waw.pl, accessed July 27, 2025.

The reservoir was created in 1942, during the German occupation. The workforce for the construction of this investment was Polish Jews. There are two versions of the purpose for which the reservoir was built: - the first mentions German soldiers-patients staying in a nearby military hospital, located in barracks buildings. Perhaps they wanted to create a kind of resort for them - according to the second version, it was related to the lowering of the groundwater level due to the drainage of the Sokółka marshes, which began before the war.

In the market square in Trzcianne there is an interesting monument to Józef Piłsudski, the first marshal of Poland. It is also a monument to the memory of all those residents of the Trzcianne region who gave their lives during the war for an independent Poland.
