Workers' housing with utility rooms-storage sheds of the Joint-Stock Company Karol Wilhelm Scheibler Cotton Manufactories. It is part of the Księży Młyn Estate. This is an estate of workers' housing built in stages between 1873-1875. The main core consists of 18 residential buildings, arranged in 3 rows of 6 houses each, along with utility buildings. The main avenue of the estate is closed by the building of the former school and the former company store (the so-called Konsumy). The building of the former fire station adjoins the estate from the west. The workers' estate is complemented by a group of residential buildings on Fabryczna Street and Przędzalniana Street. The entire complex is characterized by an unchanged, regular urban and communication layout with partially preserved cobblestone pavements. In the majority of the buildings, the external form has been preserved in its nineteenth-century guise. In most cases, the layout of the rooms in the workers' apartments has also remained unchanged.

The oldest, large-format Łódź mural. Located at the end of the pedestrian part of Piotrkowska Street. At the time of its painting, it was the largest mural in the world. Completed in November 2001. It depicts the most characteristic elements of the city's space – Freedom Square with the monument of Tadeusz Kościuszko, the Church of the Holy Spirit, the Town Hall, and a historic tram. The authors of the mural are members of the Design Futura group. The mural is located on the 600m2 northern wall of the tenement house at Piotrkowska 152.

The origin of the church is linked to the Battle of Warsaw in 1920. The inhabitants of Łódź, gathered for a prayer service, vowed to build a votive church if God granted them victory over Bolshevik Russia. As early as 1920, the decision was made to build a new Marian church. The parish was established on July 1, 1926, by Bishop Wincenty Tymieniecki. The basilica-style church, with classical forms and three naves, was designed by Józef Kaban. The cornerstone was blessed on August 15, 1926. The new church, although not yet completed, was opened for use in 1929. Construction was finished in 1938. The church was consecrated on October 2, 1938, by Bishop Włodzimierz Jasiński. The tower with two bells was erected in 1950. During World War II, the building was closed to the faithful and partially devastated. It was taken over by a clothing company that sewed uniforms. In the years 1952–1954, the main nave was decorated with polychromy, and the side naves with sgraffito, by Marian Jaeschke, Zdzisław Sikorski, and Albin Łubniewicz.
