A super cool road through the Spała forest. The so-called Gierek Trail. Apparently, during the communist era, comrade Gierek had a secret residence in the middle of the Spała forest. A very cool road to Spała, practically closed to traffic.

Park Bulwary is located on both banks of the Wolbórka River flowing through the center of Tomaszów Mazowiecki, in the immediate vicinity of Galeria Tomaszów. It is a space intended for sports and recreation, but also for cultural events such as concerts or exhibitions. In recent times, the park has undergone a complete metamorphosis. Among other things, landscape beaches, an extreme cycling track, a fountain, viewing platforms, illuminated pedestrian and bicycle footbridges, a playground, an outdoor gym, equipment for recreational and sports games and elements of small architecture were built. The park has become a kind of "oasis of greenery" thanks to the planting of over 300 trees, 40 thousand shrubs and over 30 thousand perennials and other plants.

Construction of the temple began in 1986. In the autumn of 1999, the church was solemnly consecrated by Archbishop Władysław Ziółek. The temple is connected to the expanded rectory and climbs up a high bell tower.

At the House of Remembrance of the Struggle and Martyrdom of Polish Foresters and Woodcutters stands the Forester's Monument. It may not be a joyful occasion to stop here, but it is important to remember those who gave their lives, shot and murdered by the Soviet and German occupiers, as well as all those who died during the war.

It is worth stopping on or near the bridge - especially since there is a plaque commemorating General Tadeusz Buk, who died in the Smolensk disaster. You can find out who the general was.
