In the place where the chapel stands today, there used to be a beehive, 400 years old, with a cross cut into the bark and an open hole at the top. Above the cross, in the crack, someone planted a small picture on a metal plate of the Mother of God, made "locally". The picture, together with the cross, was supposed to protect the tree from the greedy hand of pests. It happened that an evil man from that village decided to chop down the beehive, he counted on earning a lot from the ownerless tree. What was he going to do! he decided to do it. On a bright spring night, he took his two sons with axes and a saw and they went to the beehive. But as soon as the greedy farmer hit the trunk a few times with an axe, his strength failed him and he became so ill that he was barely led home. And from the chopped tree, not resin, but live blood flowed for a long time. People looking at it were terrified, and the peasant who wanted to chop down the hive was plagued by illnesses for many years, along with his children and property. From that time on (in 1850) the "miraculous" hive was talked about in the area. The next manifestation of the miracle was the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the tree. Since 1798, there was a wooden chapel in Dąbrówka, which belonged to the parish of Kadzidło, where Sunday Mass was celebrated by priests from Kadzidło, Nowogród and Ostrołęka. Since 1861, a priest without parish priest rights has permanently resided in Dąbrówka. Currently, there is a wooden church of St. Anne built in 1891-1892; blessed in 1893 by the Bishop of Płock M.
