On Saturdays and Sundays, the church is usually open and available for visits accompanied by a member of the church choir or the parish priest. Bicycles can be left in a safe place behind the church; you need to go around the fence from the back, there is a second gate and a stand for two-wheelers.

The observation tower overlooking the Narewka River floodplains is an excellent place to observe the wildlife of Białowieża National Park. From its summit, a panoramic view of the marsh forests unfolds, providing a haven for numerous birds, including storks and cranes. It's a great spot to quietly admire wildlife and spot animals in their natural habitat.

The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Trześcianka is one of the most recognizable wooden churches in Podlasie, belonging to the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. Built in the second half of the 19th century on the site of an earlier church, it captivates with its vibrant color, distinctive tripartite log structure, and towers topped with onion-shaped domes. The interior is adorned with a three-tiered iconostasis, and a fieldstone fence surrounds the church. In 2015, a thorough renovation of the church was completed, restoring its former splendor.

The Land of Open Shutters comprises three villages located in the Narew River valley: Soce, Puchły, and Trześcianka. What do they have in common? They are inhabited primarily by "locals," meaning Orthodox Christians who speak the Podlasie dialect. Their homes are adorned with ornaments that we associate with the "biezhenstvo" (exile) during World War I. It's worth a visit!

"U Kolarza" (At the Cyclist's), or Mr. Jurek Kuczko's, who was an outstanding cyclist. The inn serves local Podlasie cuisine, and please note that payment is cash only. I recently had delicious Russian pierogi there; I highly recommend them!

A great place for a larger group to stop, with a shelter, tables, and plenty of space. The site is known today primarily for the discovery of a Roman grave there in 1959, dating back to the 3rd-4th century AD. The grave was discovered while collecting gravel from a gravel pit located in section 396. Among the finds were human skeletons, pottery shards, and everyday objects.
