Beautiful wooden church. Giby – Parish of St. Saint Anna The town of Giby was founded in 1594. In the past, the village was the seat of the osoczniks guarding the former Przełomska Forest. The current church was originally a prayer of the Bezpopovtsy, built in 1912 in Pogorzelec. In the years 1913-1941, the temple served as a house of prayer for Old Believers. Since 1982, after being moved to its current location and adapted to religious functions, it has served as a Roman Catholic parish church. The parish was established on June 29, 1992 by Fr. Bishop Wojciech Ziemba, Bishop of Ełk. Church equipment: A building with two towers: the higher one with bells. Inside, the walls are covered with wainscoting.
