The roads and paths that make up the Kashubian Route are mostly of good or very good quality, but exploring the charms of the Tuchola Forest often requires tackling challenging sections rife with sandy climbs, numerous roots, and fallen trees. Unexpected climbs also require good fitness, leg strength, and proper riding technique. Therefore, they are not always suitable for families with small children.

The village also has a rich past with interesting historical events. The first information about Swornegacie comes from 1272 and is related to the Augustinian order, which was supposedly founded by Świętopełek in 1265. This first mention can be found in a Latin document of Pope Gregory X from 15.07.1272, which entrusts the Augustinian monastery settled here to the care of the Chełmno bishops. In 1275, the monks already have their own church here and Duke Mestwin II becomes their benefactor, granting the monks estates and privileges. However, the monks did not have peace here and therefore, with the permission of Wenceslas II, they left this place and in 1303 they merged with the Cistercian monastery in Oliwa. The Augustinians then transferred all their properties to the Oliwa monastery, namely: the villages of Swornegacie, Dąbrówka, Zwerynec Square, Lake Nechor, forests and four lakes – Karsińskie, Witoczno, Długie and Zielone. In 1309, the Cistercians exchanged these properties with the Teutonic Knights for lands located closer to Oliwa. In place of the Augustinian monastery buildings, a fortified Teutonic farm manor was built in Swornegacie. https://www.swornegacie.com/swornegacie-historia.html
