Passing by the train station in Chełm Śląski, it's worth taking a look at this extremely interesting water tower. The facility is located on the grounds of the former Woodworks of the Coal Industry. This historic place is still called "Szwelownia" by the locals today, because years ago, wooden railway sleepers (so-called "szwele") for Silesian mines were mass-produced here. Although the area of the former works and coal depot is currently unused, the characteristic silhouette of the water tower is a great landmark for cyclists and industrial architecture enthusiasts. The structure is best viewed from behind the fence on the access road side, making it an ideal drive-by stop on the route.

New road and pedestrian-cycle viaduct over the newly built section of the S1 expressway at the junction of Bijasowicka and Peryferyjna streets. Passable, but still undergoing finishing works.

Most Bronisław - that's its name. When driving towards Oświęcim from Wola or Jedlina, it's the only option for cyclists. The new Oświęcim bypass is not adapted for cyclists and pedestrians.

The volunteer firefighters of Świerczyniec celebrated their 160th anniversary on July 9, 2017. The first mention of the local fire department was in 1857. The Pszczyna archives contain a note about an inspection of firefighting equipment in the Świerczyniec commune. At that time, a hand-held fire engine was located at Jedlina Manor. Nine years later, the Duke of Pszczyna built and equipped a fire station in Świerczyniec. The hand-held fire engine, with its horse-drawn carriage, served the firefighters until 1957. One of the first commanders was Augustyn Kłyk. Records from those early years are scarce. Word of mouth records indicate that Świerczyniec firefighters extinguished two major fires: one at the church in Bojszów and one at the buildings in Cielmice.
