It is worth stopping here for a moment to see this excellently preserved element of Silesian industrial heritage. An old mine cart (koliba) stands right in front of the building of Primary School No. 4 named after St. Barbara. It is a unique, local monument that recalls the centuries-old mining traditions of Goławiec and the hard work of the local miners. The school has a very rich history dating back to the 19th century – Polish lessons started here as early as 1922. An ideal landmark and photo opportunity during a bicycle or walking trip around the Bieruń-Lędziny County.
