It is worth driving up to the ruins through the Sanctuary gate, to see the ruins from a different perspective I suggest driving up the street a little further and stopping at the volunteer fire department - there is also a nice shelter there to rest.

Dam and damming devices. You can cross it by bike, but it requires a lot of fitness. I do not recommend it to older people and children - it may be dangerous. But it's worth seeing ;-)
