Fire observation post (popularly called a fire tower), belonging to the State Forests. Key information about the facility: Purpose and function: The tower is used for early detection of forest fires. At the very top, there is a glazed observation cabin (gondola). Nowadays, traditional observers are often replaced by high-resolution television cameras, which transmit live images to the alarm and dispatch center in the forest district. Construction: This is a modern type of tower with a monolithic concrete core, on which a platform with a technical gallery and radio communication equipment (visible antennas) has been mounted. Location: This facility is strategically located in the Trzebiesławice forests (managed by the Siewierz Forest District) to provide a view of the extensive forest complex in the Zagłębie region and the edge of the Krakow-Częstochowa Jura.
