We were lucky with the weather, bright sunshine. There was still a lot of snow in May, children were able to borrow a bobsleigh and play in the snow. At a cool 8°C!!

This access through Unhais da Serra is wonderful! A true paradise for cyclists. We must thank the stretch for paving (halfway up) the fact that cars avoid this side of the mountain. By far, it is the best way to climb Serra da Estrela.
