From São Bento Station, exit the main entrance onto Praça de Almeida Garrett and follow Rua 31 de Janeiro downhill to Avenida Dom Afonso Henriques. From there, keep right toward the Cathedral (Sé do Porto). At the cathedral, continue to Ponte Luís I and cross it – the upper deck is the most beautiful, with views of the Douro and the old town. On the other side, in Vila Nova de Gaia, turn left up Rua do Choupelo, which will take you directly to WOW – World of Wine. The walk takes about 20 to 25 minutes and is easy to manage, although the last section is a bit uphill. It's actually quite quick, but otherwise, just take a break along the way :)
