The observation tower Planina nad Vrhniko is located at an altitude of 733 m and is 22 m high. From the top there is a beautiful view of the Ljubljana basin and the surrounding near and far hills. At the top of the tower is an information board, on which the directions and distance of the peaks are marked.

Starting points for the cave trail: either drive to the northern end of the village (the path goes in 2 meters before the place-name sign) or you drive in the direction of Spelocamp and try to find a parking space on the way. It won't be easy here or there, because there aren't any. We chose the second option and asked in a carpentry shop if we could park there. Then we walked the other way around. That's it for information, greetings and have fun ✌🙋🏼♀️

Great cave, especially because of the dimensions, it's gigantic 😳! Inside, it gets muddy or loamy relatively quickly. Here are some useful links: https://www.speleocamp.com/?things-to-do,31 You can also learn a lot about the cave system here: https://www.lochstein.de/hoehlen/Slo_Kro/karst/laze/laze.htm Otherwise you will unfortunately not find an overview map or anything about the route. It's definitely worth going the route. (Between the two caves - on the way) Attention ⚠: there are snakes here! Today we had seen an Aesculapian snake (non-poisonous) but also a adder (poisonous). Pay attention a little.
