A small bar (coffee, beer, wine, soda, snacks) intricately built into the rock with a beautiful view of the Rinka waterfall. A dream when the weather is nice. The hut was built in 1968.

Potočka Zijalka Cave

Highlight • Cave

Potočka zijalka (1700 m) is an important cave site that was visited by Ice Age hunters 30,000 years ago. This is evidenced by numerous excavations which are on display in the permanent collection of the Firšt guest house museum in Logarska dolina. The cave measures 115 m in length and is 40 m wide in the middle and reaches a height of 4 to 10 m. From the starting point - parking lot under the church of St. Duha in Podolševa takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes of easy walking along a marked mountain path that leads to the top of Olševa.

Paulitschsattel (Pavličevo Sedlo) Pass

Highlight (Segment) • Mountain Pass

Road crosses a small border between Austria and Slovenia. This part of the alps is called Kamniške Alpe / Steiner Alpen and is located in the Nort of Slovenia, partly crossing the border to Austria. Recommendation for a loop over Jezerski vrh / Seebergsattel, makes a super nice ride!

Robanov Kot Valley

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

Robanov as a settlement and one of the three valleys in Zg. Savinja valley along the more well-known Logarska valley and its adjacent Matkovo angle. Like the Logar Valley, Robanov, as in the last ice age, transformed the glacier and left traces behind it in the form of morale. The valley extends all the way to the foot of Ojstrice - Robanova planina, where it is also the starting point of beautiful pl. tur. It is certainly worth a visit in all seasons where there is no lack of peace and good home-made catering offerings.

Frischauf Lodge at Okrešelj (1396 m)

Highlight (Segment) • Mountain Hut

When a fire destroyed a hut in November 2019, in which too many stories were written, which led to tears of happiness and sadness, in which laughter spread and eternal friendships were forged, the Celje - Matica Mountaineering Association came together even more strongly and started building a new mountain lodge. Because we want laughter to spread again in Okrešlje, new ties are forged and good people meet.

The new Frischaufov dom in Okrešlje will be a modern, contemporary and ecologically economical cottage that will meet all modern guidelines and trends in the construction of cottages in the Alps. The designer, the company Kultivator, followed the basic guideline in designing the hut, namely to place a new home in the amphitheater and capture the view of the mighty mountains that surround it. Thus, the veduta opens in the first floor and the first attic to the southeast, and in the second attic it catches the views towards the Turkish mountain and the Rinke. The cottage will be built of stone and wood. The stone ground floor will lean against the rocky edge of the terrain and merge with it, and the stone base will also continue upstairs and will act as a backbone for the wooden, soft part of the hut.

The new cottage will have 48 beds. In the attic, two rooms will be intended for shared beds, the others will be smaller with an individual touch. The dining room will have space for 60 people, as well as on the summer terrace, which has remained in the same design as the previous one and will face southeast, overlooking Planjava and Ojstrica. The cottage will also have a multi-purpose space for various activities and events.

The Rinka Waterfall is one of Slovenia's most beautiful and most visited natural attractions and is considered the source of the Savinja River. It is particularly impressive in spring and autumn with its large volume of water, while you can enjoy the view with a drink in the nearby Orlovo gnezdo.
