August 7, 2024, View of the Columbia River from the Apple Valley Loop Trail (East Wenatchee)

The East Wenatchee portion of the Apple Valley Loop Trail has more rolling hills and less traffic (no parks) than the west side. Great views of the Columbia. The landscape is more rugged. About halfway the county public works department has a spot just off the trail with a bike repair station, water fountain, and restroom.
