The longer but also more attractive route can be chosen via the Lettengraben and the Metzgersteig along the Strubklamm. Afterwards you definitely deserve a stop at the Gasthof Obermayer or the Schnitzelwirt right in the town center (please note the opening times!). Alternatively, the benches on the Kirchenberg, Pfarrstuhl or Göllblick are also ideal “snack spots”.
