Yes, there really is a windmill up here. From the Windmill Trailhead you have access to the Windmill Trail which is quite a bit easier than much of the rest of Gooseberry Mesa.

This trailhead offers ample parking and restrooms. Attention: If it gets wet the Gooseberry Mesa Access Road gets sticky and muddy and is almost impassable. So if it starts raining, you better get off the Mesa as quickly as possible.
